HIGHLIGHTS:
On this floating paradise, 11 guest villas have been built from local materials reaped from the rehabilitation process, where luxury and simplicity mingle to form a signature architectural style we call ‘barefoot luxury’.

LOCATION
Luminous white beaches cosset a tropical interior of coconut palms and takamaka trees cradled between three granite outcrops, 110m to 180m in height, whose polished grey ramparts rise from the white sands and filigree reefs of the azure ocean. Only some 30km from the main island of Mahé, Ile du Nord, or North Island, enjoys private seclusion within the Inner Island group of the Seychelles.

VILLAS
Each of our 11 villas is a home for a couple or family, lovingly and individually handcrafted by Seychellois and African craftsmen from wood, local-hewn stone and glass. This is your haven: a warm inviting space in which to enjoy a complete sense of ease and freedom. Should you wish, all 11 villas and the island as a whole can become your own private domain.

WELLNESS & ACTIVITIES
North Island’s spa incorporates all local products into the treatments and can be tailor made to suit the specific needs of the guest. The spa is overlooking turquoise waters and dramatic cliffs.

All activities at North Island are designed to have a minimal impact on the environment whilst providing the enjoyment of entertainment and exercise. Guests have the freedom to move around the Island at their own pace on foot, bicycles, or island buggies.

DINING
North Island cuisine is based on the very finest natural products from their own vegetable and herb gardens to prepare only the freshest food combinations. The cuisine of North Island is based on the diversity and cultural influences allowing the food concept to grow from a Créole base to a more global offering. Daily menus are prepared with specific Créole, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and English flare.

West Beach Bar serves up fresh hot pizza, salads, sumptuous beach barbecues and tapas-style snacks, all perfect for sharing as you watch the sunset, lingering over a cocktail and relaxed music.

The chef will always discuss the menu with guests and effortlessly create special requests to give a completely personalised dining experience. The in-villa dining experience is all about comfort food and choice.
